Can’t lie, thought I’d hate this. But found Frances to be genuinely endearing if not embarrassing and quite funny. Very human film. Greta Gerwig is fantastic and keeps the viewer engaged through it all despite the lack of traditional structure or story. Would happily watch again.

First half was a bit weak, but I enjoyed by the end. Probably wouldn’t watch again with any haste. Catherine O’Hara and Eugene Levy stole the show.
