  Classic night out with the boys at the Athenaeum Theatre featuring a Q&A with James and Roger Deakins beforehand!

  Back of the chair broke about twenty minutes in so had to awkwardly sit forward in my chair while also feeling the person behind me’s knees hopelessly pressing up against the back of my seat. Sorry guy, not sure what you want me to do here.

  My first impression and review was “Will require a rewatch or two.” And indeed, rewatching it tonight in a full theater, having ingested several insightful podcast episodes on the subject matter, things clicked into place for me.

  There is just so much crammed into these Wes Anderson worlds that an initial viewing can be almost overwhelming. I even overheard a woman on the way out of the theater tonight say that it always takes her two or more times watching…
