I didn’t have really high expectations walking into the theatre to watch this, as the show is famously one of the best to see live. Alien: Romulus 2024
A worthy addition to the Alien movies. Well directed, beautifully shot and graded, awesome sound design and full of terror and tension. The cast did great with David Jonsson and Cailee Spaeny being the standouts.
It did come with a couple silly moments and characters making stupid decisions but this is almost expected from a survival horror.
All in all, this was just what I was looking when it comes to a new Alien movie and it exceeded my expectations. A truly great sci-fi survival horror for the ages.
