Absolutely gorgeous in design. Beautiful movie. Great concept. Almost completely empty on the inside. No real characters, no real tension, no real feeling of excitement. The last third of the film is a limp game of cat-and-mouse. Even the scenes between Connery and Boyle—which should be electric—feel flat.
