    Kho Gaye Hum Kahan

    ★★★½

Kho Gaye Hum Kahan falls into one of the oldest traps in the book of coming-of- age cinema: being about too many things to be about anything in particular. It manages to grasp the zeitgeist of Gen Zs but accumulates so many half done narratives in the initial act, that the writing falls short of providing equal justice to all of them.

On a more positive note though, the main cast does an exceptional job at keeping their characters authentic enough for the viewer.

Not particularly the Dil Chahta Hai or ZNMD of our generation but clearly a step in the right direction.

For a film that is known for its musicality, this time around, I was impressed by the use of silences to portray the void and numbness that Jordan has for the love and fame thrown at him.

Thanks PVR for re-releasing these beauties on the big screen <3

At a lack of creativity (cause of the fact that I'm very drunk on a Saturday night). I'd like to present my 'notes' entry from my solo date experience of watching th screening of Guide.

    • The ratio of grey hair to black in this hall
    • The number of times these people have to go to the loo
    • Waheeda being the blueprint of Rani from Queen
    • Marco steals the show tbh
    • Everyone second guessing the arrival…

Honestly, I was scared while choosing the rating for this one. Should I just give it a four and a half under peer pressure or should I actually speak the truth? Well I'm gonna go with the latter.

I swear to god I tried so hard to love this movie. I tried looking at the frame and searching for the deeper meaning, hell I even saw a whole 11 minute video essay about how this is a masterpeice. Guess it…
