I'm Still Here 2024
This is one that sticks with you. Beautiful movie all around, devastating but also an uplifting story of resilience in spite of brutality. Having known very little about Brazil’s history, finding out this is a true story afterward (adapted from a 2015 autobiography from Marcelo Rubens Paiva) was a gut punch and I will 100% be waiting on the English edition.
