How I love being a woman

I wish all of Rian Johnsons movies felt this effortlessly textured and inhabited

I thought it was cool of the Cohens to start doing weird meta narratives about film, writing, and the artist as an insufferable moron this early in their career.

You just don't get it, men. This movie is for WOMEN. You can tell, because there's a Diva Cup in it, and a mean British classics professor who just wants to Put Women In Their Place TM. Relatable!

Bizarrely sexless, meandering plot. Feels like 2 scripts stacked on top of each other in a sexy Santa dress. Surprisingly well shot, so I guess it's got that going for it (although cinematography was done by a man, so 🤷‍♀️)
