    Salem's Lot

    ★★½

Traditional, but also hopelessly outdated adaptation of the classic Stephen King novel, that recreates a believable 1975, but fails to create characters other than broad stereotypes - and to me was never scary.

    Lee

    ★★★

The film fails for me as a biopic, because it sends far too much time reiterating well-worn facts about WW2, but never tells us what consequences these event has for Lee's life and post-war career and post-war development as a person.

In 111 minutes, the film accomplishes to make a remake of 1994's "The Crow", that is is every way shape, form or detail worse than the original.

Why this film was made in the first place when they had nothing useful to add (and IMHO the 1994 version is nowhere near perfect) is beyond me.

The only scene that was acceptable was the Crow as "The Slasher…
