  What a disappointment. I really understand what he tried to do with this film but imo it just ends up being really superficial and shallow and just becomes another tasteless male gaze movie which absolutely explains how every single man on here eats it up (eww) and the trope of ‘male saviourism’ is just fucking pathetic. It is beautifully shot I'll give him that but that's it.
