  I theorized, cerca 2021 that “French Dispatch” would be the swan song of Wes Anderson, implying that it was simply created as room for him to pay homage to his coveted style. “The French Dispatch” played off of the dismayingly true bleeding hearts of artists, a catalog of esoteric characters,  of an anthology of downtown stories inspired by the New Yorker. The film almost seemed too banal and potent to his genre, for a lack of better words, Too Wes…
