Woman of the Hour 2023
Some of the dating show bits felt a little corny or forced, but I was surprised by the rest of the movie. It’s nice (and rare) to have a serial killer movie that doesn’t put the killer on some sort of pedestal and that doesn’t exploit the victims deaths. There was a true point to the film, rather than just trying to be morbid, and the point of the film was very clear (but they didn’t beat you over the head with it either). I think this movie did a really good job showing the feeling of losing safety and how immediate it can sometimes be.

wowie! watched it twice in one day (well, once alone and then second time I watched boyfriend watch it). Knew it was supposed to be disturbing, so the slower pacing kind of caught me by surprise at first. It was disturbingly calm, then the last two minutes rewrote the whole story and it shook me! Icky! Wow! Great movie!
