“People don’t like messy or different.”

I have resonated so completely with this film….the silent moments….the instances where the score gave way to the creeping up of grief.

I found myself collecting a series of quotes that escaped from each protagonist’s mouth and I suddenly didn’t feel so alone.

Finch spoke about disappearing and I could not help but to replay the scene where the life drained from his face a second after smiling with his friends…I could not help…

“Sometimes I wish I didn’t remember anything about her.” “Don’t wish that.”

I know that this quote was about the pain attached to the memory of Marike’s mother, but it is impossible to escape the relevance it has surrounding the intensity of her love for Jaime— one could cut the tension with a knife.

This film gripped me from the very beginning…one that deserves all the praise.

    Hauntingly suffocating.

A fable from a true tragedy— the opening text amidst the sound of birds chirping. There was minutes of silence…as if you were waiting for permission to breathe

“You see they are pulling my wings and legs off one by one, making note of how I react.”

It must be the worst kind of existence to be watched so critically, judged…trapped in a glass cage.

Spencer was poetic, it spurred an uneasy feeling within you and causes you…

This shattered me entirely. One of the most visually stunning films I have seen in my lifetime.

It was irrecoverably jarring how intense their feelings shook them to the core. The closing scene was cinematically beautiful.
