Beast 2017
I was completely captivated, it had me on tenterhooks throughout. Beautiful and raw backdrop. However, the lack of empathy for all the characters started to tire me. All the characters seemed so harsh and nonunderstanding, which does create a feeling of isolation for Moll - but also was tiring to watch! Even the most likeable character, Moll’s actions are often so frustrating and selfish that I lost some empathy for her half way through. But overall was mesmerised and conflicted (re Pascal) throughout.
