lots of elements i liked about this, cillian murphy is always great in everything he does, but ultimately i wanted this film to justify the story being told through this male saviour lens and it just never did that. flashbacks to bill’s childhood were powerful in isolation, but how they linked into the main story was rarely clear and they felt wasted
