A surprisingly intimate, and for the time, revolutionary subject matter.
One of those movies I only heard film students talk about. Ironically, I have an audition for a directing class and they're doing a scene from this movie, so I figured I watch for context.
A very well written honest film, almost honest in a way that's uncomfortable. You feel like you've had a lot of these conversations in your own life.
James Spader is great, but he will always be Robert California to me and that's tough.

The telling of this story is so interesting and weird. Not one point did I know where it was going, as it didn't follow typical story "rules." Excellent ensemble cast, shout out to Igor who managed to get an Oscar nomination for a role with maybe...6 lines.

Most frustrating part was Jenna Ortega surviving... just to get shot at the end for a dumb reason.
Mia Goth is great. She does have this untrustworthy vibe about her though. Im a bit scared of her tbh.
