im listening to the soundtrack as tears are (still) flowing, but not nearly as hard in the last 3 minutes of the film. holy shit, that hurt.
sound? amazing. lighting? mesmerizing. character writing? phenomenal. pacing? (uneven but it worked). the way it made me care so deeply about the preservation of a house and a city and a culture? effortless and heart-wrenching. oh did I mention how fucking cool it is? anyhow
