This was an amazing film anchored by a spectacular performance from Torres. Brilliant script, excellent performances and a fascinating story.

Even before we get to the political controversies this is just a bad film. The characters are Poorly constructed, and paper thin. The mis en scene is dull and the lighting is muddy - even if you didn’t know it wasn’t filmed in Mexico you could tell from the light. Zoe Saldana is the best thing in it and her musical number in the red suit is good but other than that the film had few highlights
