  I physically ascended to another plane of existence when Live and Learn started playing. This movie may have its bumps, but I’m shameless enough to say that them injecting Sonic Adventure 2 nostalgia straight into my veins every two minutes worked on me lol. Time to boot up the old GameCube!

  Every few years Paul King is like “what seemingly innocent concepts can I use to make a grown woman cry in the theater” and then he freaking gets me. With a talking bear. With a crazy chocolate man. I am simply a pawn to the Paul King agenda, amen.

  Just like the first one five years ago, I walked out of the theater in a sense of awe, unable to even wrap my head around what to discuss first with my friends. This is shaping up to be the best trilogy in film ever. Period. Kudos to the writers, and MAJOR kudos to the animators. Thank you for proving that animation is a meaningful, impactful medium that can tell some of the best stories imaginable :)

  Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves 2023

  Don’t go into this movie taking anything too seriously, just like with D&D! The film captures the feelings of playing the actual game really well. At moments it’s dramatic and touching, and other times it’s goofy and fun. The cast is diverse and charming and play off of each other well. And there are tons of fun Easter eggs for avid D&D players. I would definitely go see a sequel!
