  Long but always awesome. For being an older film, this movie is visually pretty impressive! (And to me) this shares a beautiful message about indigenous people and how connected they are with their land. Going to uni in Hawaii, I’ve taken Hawaiian history classes and oftentimes hear about how negatively Western culture and colonization has influenced the land and the people who are historically and hereditarily   connected to the islands. There is a lot of beauty in indigenous knowledge and it’s always a good reminder to be more mindful and open-minded about it. Anyways….. great movie.
