  Dreamworks does not miss with its children’s book adaptations. A low expectation but high return movie, Dog Man somehow ended up being a perfect blend of amazing animation (oddly satisfying), humour, and a deeply touching and emotionally charged story. It explored the dynamics of broken families, and (even) social commentary in realistic and perfectly digestible ways for children to understand and experience.
