The Wizard of Oz 1939
I'm not sure I can sum up how important this film is to cinema. From the innovation in lighting, special effects, and set design. Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory 1971
I didn't see this movie as a kid like most people my age but even as an adult it's fun, creative, and fresh feeling. Gene Wilder at his finest. A type of comedy that works across decades without seeming stale.
