  It was very well made - sad, depressing but evoked lots of emotions.
  Robbie being portrayed through a cgi monkey dissolved some association that the story was true and allowed for more sympathy than I would have shown a movie.

  Really enjoyed this movie, as a jazz fan it was a great insight to the late 20th Century American music scene. The intense autobiography of Aretha’s life was played brilliantly by Jennifer Hudson making the movie shocking, gripping and inspiring.
