  actually one of my favorite movies shaped my formative years and it’s honestly a masterpiece. this is so beautifully done it’s perfect gothic horror idk the words but this is like if the typical 1800s tragically dead mother story was done like dracula or frankenstein. it’s so so gothic and just the right amount of scary it’s the best version of a paranormal horror movie because it’s actually well done and scary.  took itself just the right amount of serious.…
