Great Halloween watch, I add a star because I love a good transformation scene, however that is immediately negated by James McAvoy sucking cyst juice out with his mouth. Two great actors, a classic story, and a bit of grotesque fun.

Okay so I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone, but it really hits the mark on a cheesy 80s movie. I think they brilliantly recreated the energy of its inspiration, and Katherine reached levels of acting I didn’t know she had (not the way you’re expecting). So those few of you who read this, just go ahead and throw it on in October , I think you’ll enjoy it.

Okay it’s a shark movie, and while of course it had some plot errors and Sofia didn’t seem to actually help much, it was a fun watch. It just makes me wanna watch more shark movies (but that’s like one of my favorite sub-genres of films, so keep that in mind) I didn’t think there was need to push a new romance after watching her husband get eaten, but ya know, you can’t have horror without some unnecessary sexual tension.…
