  Really good, I just felt like it could have been twenty minutes shorter or that time could have been used to flesh out other areas. In my opinion it felt really intentional (as opposed to shock factor-esc) and some of the bits said to be male gazey felt important within the context of the film’s wider discussion.

  I came after seeing the set design on YouTube and I certainly wasn’t disappointed by that, or the music, or the acting, or the costume, or the overall pacing. 10/10.

  And yet, a lot of what is wrong with 1920s surrealism is what I find wrong in this film. The flippant approach to women's sexuality being at the top of the list.

  Every single part of the filmmaking process has aligned in perfect harmony. 

  I have been longing to watch another film that makes me so over affected I feel like I’m going to explode if I don’t tell people about it. 

  My small Lancashire mind cannot comprehend Paul Mescal in a Yorkshire accent and as a human being I cannot comprehend Claire Foy playing Andrew Scott’s Mum.
