  only really watched the first and last 20 minutes. definitely terrifying but once they revealed the monster and cult and wasn’t scary any more. great concept but terrible execution and the ending was not thought out and took away from the rest of the movie. also stupid that the hot one is the first to die #riphutch

  sex, science, & socialism.

  the most brilliant film i have seen in a loooonnnggg time. it’s so rare to see a sexually liberated woman onscreen who is also smart, witty, & powerful. production design was incredible and everything was so lovely and colorful, mirroring bella’s fascination with the new cities. all of the sex scenes felt tasteful in the sense that they clearly weren’t intended to arouse the audience, but genuinely meant to move the story along. acting was incredible. ending was so delightful i was giggling and kicking my feet!!!

  overall a lovely wonderful brilliant work of fucking art
