Full disclosure: I was an extra in this film lol. What a lovely adaptation of a classic! Loved the agency of Jo's story. Gerwig's cinematic contrast of Jo's past and present hit the right bittersweet emotional beats. Plus, a nice little twist ending to a story that's 200 years old 😉
