Banned from Broadcast: The Movie - Saiko! The Large Family 2009

People have a lot of fond words about this film and I can't say that I share them. It's an interesting story told through interviews done with a family of 10 but it never quite delivers on the darkness that is promised in other reviews. If you don't read Japanese it becomes even muddier. Overall, it's mostly a boring story with a cool concept that doesn't pay off.

Extra point because I got to thirst over Kyle Gallner for about 34 seconds in the beginning. I liked the OG a lot, and I really enjoyed the premise of this one but the story just wasn't for me; it was such a departure from the mood of the first one I could not get into it. I do, however, love the premise of this becoming a wide-reaching sad zombie style franchise in the future. While I didn't love it, I will absolutely watch the next one.
