Very cerebral using symbolism in both its characters and environment to share a message of accepting death and the process it takes to go through it.
Viewers watching this movie through multiple times are likely to take something new from it that they missed before making it an enjoyable experience to look forward to and rewatch again. I can see this movie getting better the more you watch it and sit and think on it.
There are multiple scenes that harken to other Ghibli films bringing a smile to my face, giving a great tribute to Miyazaki‘s storytelling.
