Scary! The tension created in this film was so good, even I who doesn't really get too scared at movies was getting tense LOL. I thought the characters were all quite funny; the tone of the movie was very interesting. Both scary, and yet it Had Jokes ykwim. The dichotomy of how a young, innocent girl's disappearance was treated versus how the older, "not innocent any longer" girl's was treated was really an interesting theme to explore.
