Great and well made film, but easily in my top ten most depressing films. Ye Gods!
For the most part liked the movie, which is a lot stronger at the opening than it is in the latter parts of the film. I like to describe it as 70 percent of a good movie... the opening hour or so does a great job showing how mental illness and instability can wreck relationships and lives. The ending, however, felt completely dishonest and "hollywood"... an ending it did not earn.
