Things I loved in this movie:
The MUSIC
The pace
The acting
The intensity
The talent
The DAD 🥺
And not to mention some pretty amazing camera shots
Things I didn’t care the most for:
I felt like JK Simmons was yelling at ME 😭
And I know he’s not supposed to be a great character, but the slurs man 😕
Also WHO TOOK THAT FOLDER??
Pretty disappointing ngl. I always enjoyed the movies on the works from Stephen King and I don’t know if the book was bad, but the movie was. Without spoilers, the plot moved along so fast, it focused way too much on really bad graphics, and every time they would try to throw in comedy, I cringed…so bad. I was laughing more at the parts that were intended to be horrific.
But hey my boy Frodo (Elijah Wood) was in it for like 2 seconds, so I give a couple points for that!
My only knowledge of this movie has been through references in other films. And I must say, no wonder it gets referenced so much! So many iconic scenes.
Also literally did not even recognize Al Pacino, Diane Keaton, and James Caan. I even almost didn’t recognize ma boi Robert Duvall (who played my favorite character for sure, that man was LOYAL).
The timing of every death was so quick, it didn’t even give you time to…
We laughed, we cried, we yeeeehawed! Call me a cud- chewing heifer, but this movie was so good, the scenes with a particular bull were played mooooore than once.
