There's a lot of beauty in ordinary things. Isn't that kind of the point ?

The Father 2020
This movie broke me.
An incredibly realistic, and therefore harrowing, depiction of one of the most terrible and unforgiving diseases known to man. The power of cinema lies in its ability to immerse its audience into a different reality, a different subjective human experience. Here, we quite literally experience the effects of dementia and the terrifying feeling of losing sense of one's identity and surroundings.
Scarier than any horror film you could ever see.ps: I would die for Olivia Colman
