Indescribably bizarre, uncanny, and unhinged. There are no heroes in this film to root for, all you can do is appreciate the utter absurdity of the disturbing landscape that is the human mind.
And when you’re forcibly spat back out into the real world, all there is to think is to wonder what the hell you just watched. And in the next few days as your sense of self completely dissolves, you realize that maybe you to would like to be John Malkovich.

Really interesting movie to rewatch on Christmas. My parents have fond memories of watching it in Japan where it made huge waves in their social circle.
It is awesomely American maybe in an evil way. I sympathize with the negative reviews but man did it feel good - tears in my eyes, questioning my life type shit.
There’s a lot to think about and I appreciate it for that.
