Entertaining if somewhat predictable. A clever entry into the deadly games genre of flicks like the Purge Squid Games and Hunger Games. It would be easier to root for characters with a little more depth.

Jabberwocky 1977
Frankly I was expecting more Pythonesque humor so it was a letdown in that way. The errant results of Dennis blundering buffoonery was almost as entertaining as the grotesque nature depicted of the time period. Overall a satisfying entry in watching the pantheon of Gilliam flicks.

Wagons East! 1994
For a final performance from Candy, this film left me wanting a bit more comedic energy from one of my all time favorite comics. Not surprisingly, director Peter Markle’s resume doesn’t include a lot of comedies. Despite its shortcomings, it’s a mildly entertaining prairie western chock full of enough C and D listers to keep you entertained discovering what else you’ve seen them in.
