The Florida Project 2017
Obviously a tough watch, but you know what you’re getting yourself into going in. I thought it was a good movie and enjoyed the style of direction. The kids were hilarious & the writing was real.

I don’t know what to do or think about this! I think I need to watch at a different time. But I’ve been excited to watch this for a while and thought today was the day & I can’t get through it. Last 40 minutes and I just don’t want to stay with it and I’m so bummed and I can’t even figure out why. Everyone said the first 40 was hard but I enjoyed all that. Need to try again in the future. I really wanted to love this & really did enjoy what I got through.

this movie changed my little teenage brains life forreal. Top 10. No doubt. So underrated, so unacknowledged. But lowkey why do I like it that way? Through and through, the love & understanding of/for music is just too real and relatable for me. Especially being a few years younger than these characters at the time of first watching this. Kinda reminds me of a modern day/pg-13 almost famous kinda of energy, not the story, but the feeling inside of me while watching both kinda align.
