  woah

  i do think this is a masterpiece, but it is easy to become a bit uninterested throughout it because a lot of it felt unnecessary or more like a drag. it didn’t radiate that much shocking energy out of me, but the acting..whew. acting was terrific, the acting is what did it for me. seeing ani with igor did make me go “..woah,” i admire the way this film shows how quick a life can change and traumatize someone.…

  you’re a perfectionist who is consumed with the idea of being more than complete? watch this ASAP.
  there’s a lot of motifs and messages under the surface of this movie. there is manipulation, madness and only some parts of happiness…followed by more madness.
  it’s the perfectionist student—manipulative insane teacher dynamic. fletcher takes students who he can see a little bit of himself in, and then completely molds them into him. wild.
  as much as i wish the ending was different, it’s not terrible and i can live with it ☹️
