The movie was inspired by a story from the 14th century, where David Lowery heavily modified it to his own desires.
The movie is simply about Gawain (the nephew of King Arthur) who struggles to become a knight, and deals with cowardice throughout the movie.
Gawain isn’t a protagonist we root for, but can relate to, and follow throughout a new fantasy world that feels refreshing.

Men is a very strange but beautifully filmed movie. I wasn’t sure what to expect, and all I knew about the film was the end is “very f*****”.

It was my first time watching this movie and after I finished it I wasn’t sure if I loved it or not. I mean, I definitely liked it, but I’d consider it “good” but not “great.”
However, I did some reading into the film and my opinion has been changed. I realllllyyyy like this movie, I think the entire premise and what happens later on in the story makes things extremely interesting and captivating from a viewer perspective.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre… man, there’s a lot to say about it.
Surprisingly, there’s not a massive amount of gore despite it having themes of cannibalism, and being an old slasher esc film.
