In some scenes, the camera captures the town, and occasionally the inhabitants instead of the characters, while they're speaking. And that drew me in, especially the scene in the beginning of the film where Mrs. Shiva gave the teacher a ride. Each time I find a film as wonderful as this, I become more grateful and happier to be alive on this planet Earth. I cannot end this review without talking about Zarifeh Shiva's calm intensity, and her chemistry with the camera which seems so natural.

I love this movie because it makes clear the point that in life we set out on unplanned adventures with people we never imagined we'd do that with. And that, we can find light and live meaningful lives after tragedies. A warm embrace from a loved one will always be a better remedy for heartache than isolation. You just have to find your people, and allow people to love you.
