Memoirs of a Geisha 2005
This movie incorporates great movie elements like cinematography, customs design, and acting- on the topic of acting, while the acting was good it just felt inauthentic when you find out the main leads aren’t Japanese. But saying all this doesn’t change the fact that the plot just fell apart as it became more focused on the love story between sayuri and the chairman, it just completely threw me off. Even though it has great elements in it as I stated before- it just isn’t enough to redeem the movie for me.
