  Oh hey London Tipton!!

  Some interesting cinematography, some very shaky / out of focus shots which were annoying.  The script really let it down, very TELL instead of show. Could’ve been more precise with the dialogue and less exposition-ey

  Pam Anderson is fab tho!

  The score is a character in itself - setting the melodramatic tone. Successfully heightens comedic or sinister moments.

  Charles Melton’s performance shines - complex nuanced dissection of a stunted ‘adult’ stuck in a precarious purgatory between childhood and very real adult responsibility. 

  Perhaps most compelling, is his journey. Slowly coming to terms with his trauma (child grooming). His hobby / obsession with butterflies 🦋 becomes a symbol for his own journey of finding freedom.
