too much weird sex stuff. too much male dialog that did nothing for the plot line except curate a fixation on a woman’s distress that had been imposed upon her. should have been more focus on the insanity/plague/old age/etc., that were the true causation of vampire folktales. my favorite scene was when lily rose depp became contracted on the bed as if she had tetanus. should have replaced the scenes with excess dialog with something that gave background on Count Orlok. the male anguish depicted gave me the ick. high budget, nice visuals, beautiful clothing.
