Tom Holland’s character does not come of age until about 55 minutes into the movie. Antonio Campos took his time and really helped us understand and empathize with the characters through their back stories. This type of character introduction and depth reminded me of movies like Forrest Gump and Big Fish.

At the 55 minute mark the story really takes off. A story of resentment, revenge, and family.

The casting director deserves a shout because damn, an entirely non-American top…

Anna Kendrick’s directorial debut and she killed it. The plot is not your everyday serial killer movie because of the real events on which it’s based. And damn, lots of very intense and scary scenes. Credit to Anna

A well-reviewed horror is always very enticing for me. But I’m lost on how these movies are being reviewed because this one was just like most others that have rotten tomatoes. Some pretty scary themes (hills have eyes esque) and jump scares, but overall pretty damn rotten. The best part of this movie was the Donovan song Riki Tiki Tavi and admiring Georgina Campbell’s beauty.
