  Death of a Unicorn 2025

  A fairly decent dark comedic mythological horror film. I did like Paul Rudd and his deadpan humor, and Jenna Ortega is cementing herself as the Gen Z scream queen. Will Poulter was good as well as the trashy dirtbag. However, even though the gore was solid, I felt a lot of the special fx or cgi was weak. The story itself was mediocre with not much twist or surprise to it really.

  The Lonely Island group is just great, the film is basically a parody of the Behind the Music episodes on VH1. Some great cameos and supporting roles from real stars.

  A good spy thriller whodunit type of film. I thought Fassbender and Blanchette did fine. However, for me it was a long slow burn that ended quickly. I would've liked another 20 minutes of solving the case portion at the end.

  A less gory alternative to the Saw franchise with Skarsgard cosplaying Justin Bieber for some reason and Anthony Hopkins the owner of a more sinister version of the Batmobile that I have plenty of nitpicks about. However, it is a good story that isn't dragged out. I found myself rooting for Skarsgard even though his character is a terrible person in the beginning, right away Hopkins character is revealed to be even worse.
