i watched this shortly after my piano teacher of 12 years died, it really helped me to process what it meant to routinely sit with a very wise, disciplined elder for extended periods of time during my formative years, and what it means that he’s no longer. intergenerational trust and compassion borne out of a working relationship; divine, beautiful stuff.
