  One of the worst cases of failing the Bechdel test I’ve seen in a while. Just awful storytelling. Oh the enormous asshole can be literally abusive to virtually everyone, but he’s soooo sad and broken on the inside. He’s a “genius.” The fuck outta here.

  Colossal is a science fiction black comedy written and directed by Spanish filmmaker Nacho Vigalondo. On Christmas Eve, my husband and I were looking for something to put on that we wouldn't feel committed to (the main goal was to take a nap)... neither of us fell asleep and we ended up watching the movie in its entirety.
