At first I wasn't totally sure I'd relate enough but I was so wrong... props to Sean Baker for the way he cut those scenes together because that really made everything work. Lowkey a hilarious film.... and the ending .... like come on. I already need to see it againnnnn

The Brutalist 2024
This is an amazing piece of work. I respect how Brady Corbet decided that he was going to make a film without the limiting bounds of a two hour runtime. Dont get me wrong, 3 hours and 35 minutes is a long time BUT instead of clipping off essential elements he needed to tell this story's full truth, he chose to work until the film was done rather than when audiences might want it to be done.

Unbelievable film. Saw it in 35 mm and I wouldn't have it any other way... Music was eerie, images too...Cool how the older montage images paralleled how the characters were feeling.. Such an interesting idea by DOP to use the first person POV
Also...what a fucked up concept the "troubled teen industry" is???? Why are people sending their kids here? STILL!???

Demi Moore - nuff said. The fact that her golden globe for this was her first award as an actress has me CONFUSED but also so happy for her.
