  Gripping. Coming from Cap 4 (I know it's hilarious to compare this to a mediocre MCU movie), a movie I found serviceable but sauceless, it's a real treat to then watch a movie *dripping* in sauce.

  So many themes to think about. A true showcase of how good acting and editing can transform an experience. Incredible production value playing and filming full-on operas, complete with orchestra. The actors convey so much emotion in their faces and tone, elevating every conversation. Can't recommend it enough.

  Eggers doesn't miss. Absolutely engrossing atmosphere, excellent performances, great direction that constantly makes you question what is real. Might not be for everyone but as a big fan of both The Lighthouse and The Northman, this was right up my alley.

  Wanted to like this - cool concept with some great gross scenes and tone.

  The last half unfortunately dragged on way too long and just got too unbelievable for me. Gratuitous
