The Handmaiden 2016
The whiplash I recieved from the sneakily and perfectly revealed plot points will leave me motionless for a month. Handmaiden is Park Chan-Wook's magnum opus. Lady Vengeance is a close contender but the pure emotion in this movie is insane. It's so imtinate and emotional, a sapphic film where sex is not the sole focus. I think it does a great job at just being a love story (albeit an unconventional one). It's the kind of movie I can't recommend…

Vampire? I hardly know ire!- sorry I’ll go back to the drawing board for that one.
Nosferatu looks visually stunning, and I can certainly see a world in which I come around on this if I watched it alone in the future. For now I will settle with the disappointingly small volume of vampire schlong present in the movie.
