What a missed opportunity! Instead of showing it in chronological order of how someone trashes the place and then the janitor cleans everything up wondering how it got so trashed up and ruined, instead they could've started each story with the janitor coming in and leaving both her and us – the viewers guessing what happened there, and only then reveal how it all happened...

Haunting experience. In a runtime of 3 hours, this film felt like an eternity. It looks extraordinary beautiful, the colour palette and all the camera shots are plain astonishing and all its beautiful appearance makes this film even more disturbing. I could say that this is one of the best mystery films I've ever seen as for the most time you get to dig into this unanswered fate of Father Ferreira. The movie truly takes its time with providing you…
